Un incendio in Honduras distrugge il tabacco Alec Bradley
Lo scorso giovedì un incendio ha distrutto diversi stabilimenti della finca La Musica, di proprietà di Hugo Endemaño (Jamastran, Honduras). All’interno delle serre e degli stabilimenti andati a fuoco, erano in lavorazione grandi quantità di tabacco che sarebbe stato destinato alla produzione di sigari. Alec Bradley.
Alan Rubin, proprietario del marchio Alec Bradley, in una dichiarazione alla stampa, ha comunicato che gli stabilimenti, le serre ed i semenzai, andati a fuoco, non erano assicurati. (Per ovvi motivi di impossibilità nell’assicurare tali stabilimenti). E nonostante l’aspetto drammatico del danno, non ci saranno ritardi nelle produzioni, in quanto il tabacco andato perduto era destinato alla produzione 2025/26″.
La causa dell’incendio sembra essere un malfunzionamento elettrico. E lo stesso Rubin, che si trovava in Honduras al momento dell’incendio è stato in grado di valutare rapidamente i danni e trovare soluzioni per riprendersi da questo terribile incidente. “Fortunatamente non ci sono state vittime e nessuno si è fatto male. Le nostre scorte di tabacco, sono piu che sufficienti per proseguire con la regolare produzione. Ne pianteremo di più la prossima stagione per riprenderci dalla perdita. Mentre gli stabilimenti, saranno ricostruiti in appena tre settimane”.
